My Reviews & Blog
This album was my first taste of the old, crazy Ozzy. I've heard this album when a friend of mine at the time brought it and listened to the album on the school bus. I was jamming to "Bark at the Moon", "Center of Eternity", "Slow Down", ect. Little that I knew, my mom recalls that I saw the "Bark at the Moon" video as a f***ing baby! I watch it now, and it gives me some great memories!
I loved this album when I first got it at 13. That was my first Ozzy album with Randy Rhoads I've ever owned. I was really banging my head to "Over the Mountain", but I also liked "Flying High Again", "Believer", "Little Dolls", and my best favorite song from this album was and always will be "Diary of a Madman", because as I look at that cover and look at Ozzy's image from that cover, I imagine if it was a music video based on that cover. in fact, recently, I made some stills on a movie creator based on that cover and Ozzy's image. I just edit the stills, added the song, and you will see some crazy s*** on that mini movie! Anyhow, this is a must-have for any old fan or newcomer of any age!
The one that started it all!
Blizzard of Ozz was a true comeback for Ozzy aftel getting fired from Sabbath. I've got this album since I was the tender age of 14 as a birthday gift. As I ripped of the plastic off the case, I couldn't wait to listen to it! When I did, I enjoyed the stuff he wrote with Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley, and Lee Kerslake. I loved Randy's classical music-like riffs and solos, as a guitar player myself, I had to enjoy them! My best favorite song(s) is "Crazy Train", "Revilation (Mother Earth), and "Suicide Solution"

The lost gem in the Ozzy catalog!
I love this album very much (as I love the others). I didn't understand why Ozzy deleted it. Oz, if you read this, under my advice, re-make the album the way "YOU" wanted it to sound! Anyway, my favorite songs are "The Ultimate Sin", "Thank God For The Bomb", "Killer Of Giants", and of course, "Shot In The Dark".
