I bought Ultimate Sin in early 1986 on cassette tape shortly before I turned 13. It was the first time I'd ever heard his music and I must have played that tape a more than a thousand times over the years. I bought "Black Rain" on Tuesday when Circuit City opened at 10 AM, eager to get my hands on it.
