I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... When I was about 14, I lived in a s***ty house and my family had nothing. I was picked on a lot because I went to a school where the majority of kids came from wealthier families and always had designer clothes and nice cars. There was more than one Porsche in the student parking area. Even the kids that were on the low end of the money spectrum were still driving newer Cadillacs..... I drove an '85 Nissan Sentra... it was brown.... it had orange and yellow stripes down the side.... I don't want to talk about it anymore. ANYWAY, when I would listen to Ozzy and read about his life and where he came from, I felt like I belonged to something. I felt like I didn't need anyone else's approval anymore. I even got picked on for listening to Ozzy. Most of the preppy kids listened to club music and hip-hop and would rip on me for listening to music that was older than me. I would reply with things like "Lets see if people still are still listening to Master P 20 years from now!" That pretty much shut them up.

The point is that I still didn't feel accepted, but I felt like I didn't need to be accepted. Its the best feeling in the world. I can never thank Ozzy and Sabbath enough for that. Thank you Ozz for giving us something to believe in.
