I'm a fan (and you should be too) because after watching some episodes of the Osbournes I wondered why Ozzy's so famous and what the whole bat-biting and icon of metal is all about too. So one day I stumbled upon a CD store and saw The Essential: Ozzy Osbourne for sale. I bought it and listened to it and realized how s***ty pop music was and turned to METAL. I now listen Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, KISS, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Black Label Society and Dragonforce. But Ozzy still remains my favorite and I bought all his records except Live & Loud, Live at Budokan and Speak of the Devil.
SWEET
The whole album is really good, ive listened to every song multiple times and heres my conclusion:
The whole album is not the best of Ozzy but hear me out, every song on the record gets rated 4/5 in my opinion therefore the whole album IS 4/5
Not Going Away- kickass furious rocking
I Dont Wanna Stop- sweet party metal creates an atmosphere like crazy train and bark at the moon
Black Rain- weird song but i like it, slow and heavy ozzy also plays the harmonica here and nice chorus
Lay your world on me- very nice ballad starts off evil but becomes nice
God Bless the Almighty Dollar- Weird song, parts are heavy, mellow, has a funky bass line and not very ozzy like to sing about the environment
11 silver - sweet heavy fast rocking with kickass solo
civilize the universe - heavy, war lyrics and the chorus I'M ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE/watching better turn to worse/ONE MORE TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME/ try to civilize the UNIVERSE is stuck in head and fits perfectly into the song
