Ozzy Osbourne – No More Tears (12″ Picture Vinyl)
One of his most successful and most popular albums, No More Tears is Ozzy Osbourne’s sixth solo studio album, a Top 10 album upon its release in September 1991. Featuring some of Zakk Wylde’s best-ever guitar work, along with four songs co-written by Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, No More Tears contains some of the biggest songs of Ozzy’s career, including the Top 5 rock radio hits “No More Tears” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home” (his highest charting Top 40 radio track); the album also includes Ozzy’s Grammy-winning song “I Don’t Want to Change the World.” No More Tears went on to become RIAA-certified quadruple-platinum in the US, making it one of Ozzy’s two best-selling albums (alongside his groundbreaking solo debut Blizzard of Ozz).
Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a regular celebration of the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the U.S. and thousands of similar stores around the world. This year, RSD has named Fred Armisen as Record Store Day Ambassador 2021.
As with last year’s pandemic-related RSD Drops, stores will be handling sales and store procedures in the way they determine to be right for themselves and their community and that may mean something different from what people are used to. RSD recommends checking in with your local record stores –join their email lists, follow them on social media– so you’re as in the loop as possible. Find your nearest participating RSD shop HERE.
