Paramount+ has officially announced the premiere of OZZY: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW, a deeply personal and unfiltered feature-length documentary chronicling the last six years of Ozzy Osbourne’s life. The film will debut exclusively on Paramount+ on October 7, 2025, across global markets (excluding Japan).

Directed by BAFTA-winner Tania Alexander, and produced by Echo Velvet in partnership with the Osbourne familyand MTV Entertainment Studios, the two-hour documentary offers fans an intimate, all-access look at Ozzy’s extraordinary resilience in the face of chronic health challenges.

The film traces Ozzy’s journey following a life-altering fall in 2019, which forced the cancellation of his farewell tour. Viewers will witness Ozzy’s grueling recovery process, his battle with Parkinson’s, and how music became his medicine.

“It got me out of the blues,” Ozzy shares in the film, reflecting on his 2019 collaboration with Post Malone on Take What You Want. “That was the best medicine I ever had at that point.”

Through emotional interviews with Sharon, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne, fans get a front-row seat to the rock icon’s private struggles, artistic revival, and unwavering spirit. The documentary captures recording sessions for Ordinary Man (2020) and Patient Number 9 (2022), showcasing some of the most introspective and powerful work of Ozzy’s career.

The film also features heartfelt commentary from friends and collaborators, including Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Slash, Robert Trujillo, James Hetfield, Billy Idol, Zakk Wylde, Tom Morello, and more—painting a multidimensional portrait of a man who inspired generations.

Originally conceived as a living tribute, OZZY: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW now stands as a powerful memorial following Ozzy’s passing on July 22, 2025. It documents not only his health battles, but also his determination to get back on stage, including his heroic performances at the Commonwealth Games, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soundcheck, and Villa Park’s Back to the Beginning show in Birmingham.
