I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...When Ozzy and Black Sabbath parted ways it was like what will happen to rock n roll. Then Ozzy went solo and starting touring. My friends and I had tickets to his first ever solo concert in Arizona. The day of the concert we were hanging around Tower Records in Tempe, AZ When a girl screamed "It's Ozzy". Sure enough it was him with 3 big gorilla type dudes walking out of the back room. Everyone lined up to meet him and get an autograph. I was able to shake his hand and give him a hug. It was like wow, How often do you get to touch let alone talk to a god. He went to a booth and started signing autographs. I ran out to our car and grabbed my Blizzard of oz cassette tape.(they didn't even have cd's yet) He signed it a and I told him I couldn't wait to see him in concert and told him I was glad he was still doing music. He thanked me and and said that he hoped we enjoyed the show. What made an impression was that he was sincere and you could tell he was very happy to still have many fans. I don't have the casstte tape with his autograph due to 2 divorces but I will never forget that day. Well its ahem! some years later and Ozzy is still a god and still kicking ass with his concerts and music. My wife and I have been to 4 Ozzfests together and of course we watched The Osbournes. With Ozzy you always get more than what you bargained for and he is always for the fans. HE IS FOR REAL. We have six children and they all love Ozzy and his family. We have two sets of twins and our oldest turned 12 this year and are hoping to go to thier first concert and of course they want to go to Ozzfest. My children always ask me how long Ozzy is going to keep rockin'. I always tell them that the end of the world can come and you will still have c**kroaches and Ozzy. Keep rockin' godfather of rock n roll and friend.
