I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Once I discovered Ozzy, which was right when Diary Of A Madman" was released. I was hooked! I had always new his name from the singer of Black Sabbath, but had yet to really hear anything. But when a friend loaned me the new Ozzy cassette of "Diary", I just freaked out. I couldn't believe that there was music THIS GOOD on planet earth. Then I found out it was his 2nd release. So I went and found "Blizzard Of Ozz" in the store, and freaked out even further. Later, once "Speak Of The Devil" was released, I fianlly caught on to the whole Ozzy life story and his histiry with Sabbath. I loved "Speak", it was mainly all new stuff to me, I never had to feel like many other folks who experienced it as only a live album of Sabbath songs, They were all new AWESOME songs to me. Then, IT, happened. I saw Ozzy LIVE for the 1st time. WOW!!!! It was for the "Speak Of The Devil Tour" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at The Sate Fairgrounds, with brand new guitarist Jake E. Lee, which I did not know from Adam, but hooked me right away, he was awesome! Opening for Ozzy that day was: Vandenburg, then Louisiana's own LeRoux and Blue Oyster Cult. It was a life changing experience for me. I was officially OZZIFIED!!!! I was only 13 years old.
Ozzy basically helped me make it through life and all that was thrown at me from 13 years old until about 21 when I was in The US Navy. And still to this day, not much can get me excited like a new Ozzy album being released. I've been fortunate to see Ozzy Live in concert 6 times so far. Speak Tour Baton Rouge La., Ultimate Sin Tour [w/ Cliff & Metallica] New Orleans, Merry Mayhem Tour New Orleans, and 3 Ozzfests- 2000 Baytown Tx, 2002 Atlanta Ga., 2002 Dallas Tx.

I've followed Oz since 1982 and will continue to do so until I die.
Thanks Oz, for everything!!!
