OZZFEST RETURNS:

EXPLOSIVE 2010 BILL THIS SUMMER

TO BE HEADLINED BY

OZZY OSBOURNE AND MOTLEY CRUE

OTHER ARTISTS ONBOARD INCLUDE

METAL LEGEND ROB HALFORD,

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DEVILDRIVER, AND DROWNING POOL

This is the tour where the fans have always screamed the loudest…

More than 15 years after OZZY OSBOURNE debuted OZZFest, the defining blueprint for hard rock tours and festivals returns this August in six American cities with an explosive bill co-headlined by OZZY and, in their first-ever OZZFest appearance, Mötley Crüe--touring together for the first time with OZZY since he invited the group on their now legendary 1984 arena tour. Expect the energy to go way off the charts at the all-day extravaganza of music and deranged merriment.

The 2010 OZZFest--back after taking a year off in 2009 and the 2008 one-off stadium spectacular in Dallas, TX with OZZY and Metallica headlining--will kick off August 14 in San Bernardino (the birthplace of the first OZZFest in 1996) and then make stops in Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, Camden, NJ, Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA. Live Nation will promote the tour nationally.

The main stage will feature full sets from Ozzy, Mötley Crüe and Rob Halford (who last appeared on OZZFest in 2004 with Judas Priest), performing songs from his solo career along with material from Judas Priest and Fight. DevilDriver and Nonpoint will round out the main stage line-up. Second stage headliners and six-time OZZFest veterans Black Label Society will be joined by Drowning Pool, Kingdom of Sorrow, and Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm.

Each OZZFest date will include 13 bands on two stages with music beginning at 1:00 PM. In addition, concert-goers can once again visit the OZZFest “Village of the Damned” featuring a mix of interactive activities, shopping and entertainment throughout the venue concourses.

These OZZFest dates mark the first concerts in the U.S. in connection with the June 15 (updated release: June 22) release of SCREAM (Epic Records), the OZZFest’s founder’s first album in three years and 10th studio album overall. OZZY’s band consists of his OZZY’s new guitar player, Gus G., bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.

Tickets for the show’s go on sale May 22 at www.OZZfest.com and www.LiveNation.com.

Am very diasppointed, hope Ozzy gets the messages posted here, are you American or ENGLISH?????

Myself and my partner have been life long fans and would be only too happy to travel for hours by train or bus or whatever to see Ozzy but unfortunatly for us Ozzfest isnt even coming to Britain, we are just average people who cant afford to travel to america to see our idol believe me we would if we could.

We are soo disappointed the 2 measly little gigs in this country sold so fast, i really cant believe he's not playing ANY arenas here.

Ozzy it seems is forgetting his roots and thats a real shame!!!!

i wish ozzy did more but im trilled he is comin close enough 4 me 2 c him. if they add dates mayb ill c him twice ! i cant wait 2 get his new one peace

luv OZZY! /; > LUV him

Everyone just chill out. Sharon is working on future dates probably going into next summer. Ozzy or Ozzfest will probably hit your area at some point over the next 15 months. Give Sharon a break. You just can't schedule 15 months of touring in one frick'n day. FYI - Ozzfest is coming to Canada, and I would bet my bottom dollar that Ozzy will hit South Florida and Colorado etc. New dates are coming so everyone just chill out and wait for the final tour schedule to be released and I am sure everyone (in North America anyway) will be happy.

ozzy saved my life

Give the Ozz a break, he is 61 and will be 62 December 3, 2010. The man has worked his ass off for 40 years. If we can't see him, and him not tour every bloody town, at least be glad that he is still recording new music and putting it out there for us!!!

Jonny is right; Sharon works very hard too.

Ozzy has always come to South Florida, but not this time! Why not??? Ozzy, you know we are LOYAL and FAITHFUL followers. We just don't understand it. Maybe next year huh? We'll just keep our fingers crossed. peace...

ozzy you need to come to DENVER, is a mile high. AND THAT SUCK YOU ANT

Ozzy is going everywhere except to canada for OZZFEST. My son would love to meet him live in ontario, canada

To whoever runs this site - please pass the message on to Ozzy or Sharon.

When are you gonna let Ozzy tour the theatres/ stadiums in the UK? . Yet again Ozzfest tours America and people moan coz they can't see him THIS year compares to the last., same as every other year.

I can't remember the last time Ozzy toured here as a solo artist and not in a Sabbath reunion for everyone to see and as a lifelong fan, that is disappointing. The UK gets 3 small measly venues, one of which is by invite of i-tunes only in an 18 month tour. Come On!..

Remember your roots, tour people, Ozzy, Sharon et al and who put Ozzy where he is today.

As for all of you whingers, Rob Halford is one if not the best rock vocalist ever IMHO, for both Judas Priest and solo, and still going strong now. Absolutely a Rock Legend, like Ozzy and the best in the line-up apart from the great man Ozzy himself.
