Under Cover: the McCartney/Lennon songs are fantastic
This CD brought back alot of memories. It's definitely my least favorite of Ozzy's recordings because of a couple of the songs (on All the Young Dudes, the guy talking in the background just drives me nuts - it's the worst remake of that part of the song I've ever heard, Fire, and Sympathy for the Devil - errgh), but I still listen to it periodically.
I especially love his take on John Lennon/Paul McCartney songs. He should do a whole CD of their songs - his voice is so well suited, I was very suprised to hear them and love them as much as if not more than the originals. I think "In My Life" is an amazing cover. Beautiful.

im not to much into this album.i mean,its okay,but its nothing compared to some of the past albums,like diary of madman,blizzard of oz,and just say ozzy.and has anyone noticed that the album "the essentail" by ozzy isnt on this site?

A great album his cover on Lennon's In my life made my girlfriend cry and me feel extremely depressed it was a song for the ages. No singer can cover it like Ozzy

I'm one of few that liked this album. The musicians that played on this album I didn't give a f*** who's who. But my favorite songs are "In My Life", "Mississippi Queen", "Woman", "21st Century Schizoid Man", "Fire", and a more angrier version of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero".

If anyone can cover various artist, it's definately you Ozzy! This album totally "kick's f***ing ass man"! My mum has even started listening to your music now (which is very weird, coz i never thought she liked Metal) Every Friday afternoon when I get home from work I listen to all your songs both old n new whilst downing a couple of hard earned drinks.
